Northstar Calibration, Inc. was purchased by a new partnership in September, 2005. As owner-operators, we are hands-on in the daily service to meet your needs. So, your satisfaction is our #1 objective.
Our calibration operatons were founded in Owatonna, MN in 1995. Since then, the business has changed hands several times, including owners from other states. We believe what had kept the business alive and well was the well-to-do actions of the employees. The current owners include one long-term laboratory technical manager and a qualty management consultant. Together with our experienced customer service manager and our professional technicians, we make a balanced team that is focused on our customers, technically solid, and win-win driven.
We continue to build our capabilities to service our customers' needs. We've added electronic calibrations in 2006, and expanded our measurement abilities with a new laser system shortly thereafter. In 2009 we acquired in-house lapping capabilities and expanded our mechanical & electronic repair departments. Also in 2009, we moved into a new facility, for greater efficiency & better work flow. In 2010 we added a Druck pressure calibrator which gives us in-house vacuum & precision low pressure capabilities. We're excited to continue our growth to better serve you.
